What is the cancellation policy?
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If you cancel your trip on or before July 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM (GMT -5), you will receive a refund of your remaining balance, excluding the deposit.
- If you cancel on or after July 2, 2025, at 12:00 AM (GMT -5), no refunds will be issued
Are Travelers responsible for visas and travel documents?
Yes. Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary documents, visas, transit visas, and vaccinations required for entry into destination countries. TravelWithTylan.com will provide a booking confirmation after purchase, which may be needed for visa applications. If your visa is denied, a refund will be issued according to the Cancellation Policy.
What is included in the trip?
Refer to the "Inclusions" and "Exclusions" sections on the Tour Itinerary page. Typically, this includes:
- Group accommodations
- Certain meals
- Group transportation for activities
- Scheduled group excursions and tours
- Flights are generally not included unless stated.
What happens if the trip is canceled by TravelWithTylan.com?
If the minimum number of Travelers is not met, or in case of force majeure events, the trip may be canceled or rescheduled. In that case, you will be notified by July 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM (GMT -5) and receive a full refund if cancellation is outside of your control.
Should I book refundable flights and accommodations?
Yes. We strongly recommend booking refundable flights and accommodations to protect your travel plans from any last-minute changes.
Can I get my own room as a solo traveler?
Yes. All accommodations are shared (double occupancy). Solo travelers may request a private room for an additional fee, subject to availability. Requests must be made during the booking process.
What are group trips?
Our group trips are all about meeting new people and connecting with other like-minded travelers. You can bring a friend or attend solo! For our group trips, we have specific travel dates and set itineraries.
Who can join the trip?
The trip is open to men and women, solo travelers or groups, aged 18 and older.
What’s included in the price?
Boutique hotel stay, transfers, daily breakfasts, two premium dinners, tours, boat excursions, and guided nightlife experiences.
Are flights included?
No, flights are not included. Travelers are responsible for their own airfare to Cartagena.
Can I get a single room?
Yes, single room upgrades are available for an extra cost. Request it during booking.

$300 non-refundable deposit.

Can I come alone or do I have to come with someone?
Come solo or bring a friend - it's completely up to you! Our group trips are specifically designed to connect travelers so that you no longer have to wait on friends to travel. We typically find that at least 80% of the group attends solo.
Are men allowed on group trips?
While most of our group trips cater men and women, we're excited to offer several co-ed adventures as well. Men can also explore destinations like Thailand, Kenya, Iceland, Brazil, Peru, Aruba, Jamaica, Ghana, and so much more with us!
Are flights included on group trips?
We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you’d need to fly into/out of to reach the destination.
What does double occupancy mean?
Double occupancy means you will be paired with another solo traveler of your choice or with a friend. Single occupancy means that you have your own room - there is an additional cost for a private room, which varies based on the trip. Please note that all prices listed for our group trips are per person, even though you are sharing a room with another traveler.
Can I add any additional accommodation and activities beyond the group trip itinerary?
Yes, definitely! We can assist by arranging additional services for you, beyond the group trip itinerary at an additional charge.
